Abstract
In this paper, a switched reluctance motor sensorless position estimation method based on inductance vector online identification is proposed, where the rotor position estimation error caused by the electromagnetic saturation effect can be eliminated by the developed online inductance identification method. Considering the operating characteristics of the SRM, the three-phase winding will not be saturated at the same time. On this basis, this paper proposes a new position calculation method, which eliminates the influence of the relative position estimation error caused by the saturated inductance. For the SRM in the saturated operating state, the rotor position information can be calculated more accurately, and the inductance information does not need to be stored offline. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation, which provides a feasible solution for SRM rotor position information estimation under magnetic saturation.
