Abstract
The distributed line fault diagnosis device is applicable to overhead transmission lines ranging from 35kV to 1000kV. Its precise location of line faults greatly reduces the time required to investigate fault points after a line trip accident, which is of significant importance for line maintenance work following a fault occurrence. Although this system has been applied to some extent in the field of electric power production, there are still issues such as poor stability of the device's power supply, difficulty in capturing micro-small amplitude abnormal discharge traveling waves, large original fault waveform files that are prone to packet loss, and the inability to deploy devices in areas without 4G networks. The aforementioned problems severely affect the stable operation of the distributed line fault diagnosis device. This paper proposes rational and feasible solutions to the above problems and elaborates on the specific technical routes to implement the related schemes. The overall performance improvement of the distributed line fault diagnosis device brought about by solving the above problems effectively enhances the device's overall performance in actual operation.
