Abstract
This paper presents the design and simulation of a 50-stage LTD pulse power device, featuring an output voltage of 450 kV and a current of 4 kA. First, the device is modeled and simulated to determine the values of the additional inductance and resistance in the BPFN equivalent circuit. The impact of the core's relative permeability on the device's output waveform and transmission efficiency is also investigated. Additionally, this paper conducts structural optimization simulations of the device's conical inner conductor. Finally, based on the aforementioned research, a diode is loaded in the device's load area. By adjusting the distance between the diode's anode and cathode, a coordinated simulation of circuit-field-particle interactions is conducted to study the coupling between the device and the diode.
