Abstract
羽毛被认为是在鸟类和非鸟类恐龙中观察到的最复杂的外皮结构,表现出多种形态特征,可能与对不同环境条件的适应有关。本研究描述了在中国西北下白垩纪发现的 42 件孤立的羽毛化石。根据羽毛叶片和细长的轴的鉴定,这些化石主要被归类为叶片部分闭合的体羽。一些标本中保留的后羽结构为早白垩纪羽毛复杂性表型的适应性进化提供了直接证据。此外,对倒钩密度和倒钩密度等数量特征的多变量统计分析揭示了羽毛化石和现代羽毛之间的微观结构差异。这些发现为早期有羽毛的动物为应对各种环境压力而采用的适应策略提供了见解。
