Abstract
Recent studies on large-area topological waveguides have overcome the limitations of conventional topological waveguides in small-scale domains, providing unprecedented spatial freedom for wave propagation. However, current large-area topological waveguide devices typically operate in a single frequency band, which limits their applicability in multi-band operation scenarios. To address this challenge, this study develops a topological heterostructure that enables the transmission of large-scale elastic waves across three distinct frequency bands. The waveguides in the heterostructure exhibit wider operating bandwidths when the waveguide mode widths are large, significantly enhancing multi-band functionality. This work offers an innovative solution for multi-band elastic wave transmission, enabling applications in broadband communication, environmental sensing, and energy harvesting technologies.
