Abstract
With the rapid development of offshore wind power generation, the daily operation and maintenance of submarine cables have become increasingly important. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain precise submarine cable routes. To address the issue that conventional magnetic methods cannot detect the alternating magnetic fields generated by three-phase submarine cables under normal operating conditions, this paper successfully proposes a passive cable routing detection device based on metal detection method. The signal transmission and reception of this device are realized by a three-axis air-core coil, and the transmission and reception are integrated. Through theoretical analysis of mathematical models and simulation software to simulate the system operation, the feasibility and feasibility of the device are verified. The simulation results show that in the simulated environment, the simulation results are consistent with the analysis results of the theoretical model, and compared with existing products, there is a significant improvement in the horizontal routing aspect.
