Abstract
Measuring target displacement with oblique-incidence radar is challenging due to the degraded radar cross-section (RCS) at oblique angles. This study proposes a compact, lightweight antenna reflector designed to enhance RCS performance at such angles. The reflector utilizes a retrodirective array of monopole antennas, achieving a thin profile (1 mm) and light weight, making it viable for oblique displacement measurements. Simulations and experimental results demonstrate the design's efficiency.
