Frequency Estimation Of Single Sinusoid Based On Fitz’s Method

To enlarge the frequency estimation range, a frequency estimation method of single sinusoid based on Fitz’s method is proposed. Frequency moving method is used after coarse estimation by FFT. The Monte Carlo simulation results show that the root mean square error is close to Cramer-Rao Lower Bound in the whole discrete frequency region, and SNR threshold is relatively low. The performance of proposed method is better than that of M&M method, MRife method and Zhang’s method.
