Data mining extracts the interested information from the large database and the cluster is a very important tool. The general SOFM(Self-Organizing Feature Map)cluster algorithm is an unsupervised clustering algorithm. But many problems exist in practical application process. Based on the analysis of SOFM, it optimizes the initial weight, scope, self-organizing acceleration and improves the SOFM neural network clustering algorithm in real time and accuracy.
