Laser radar image simulation method

In this paper, we have made a detailed comparative of visible light image and laser radar image, and focus on their noise model, weather model and gray level expression difference. On this basis, a method of use visible light image simulation laser radar image is presented. At first, the visible image is filtered to remove Gaussian noise and salt and pepper noise, and then surface features are divided into several types. Next,the gray value of laser radar images targets are calculated. Finally, complex weather conditions and a certain percentage of speckle noise are added to the intensity image of laser radar. Through this method, the image of the visible light simulation Laser radar image is realized and the simulation effect is very good.
