Comparative Study of Laws and Accounting Standards about Reclamation in Coal Industry between China and America

Mining environment problems arisen attention in China recently. Focuses on coal mining industry, this paper mainly compares laws, regulations and accounting standards about reclamation in China and America. Through the comparison of reclamation laws, accounting standards, this paper analyzes how big the gap is between current Chinese ecological compensation system and a relatively perfect ecological compensation system, and gives some advice upon the gap.
