An Actor Deployment Method Based on Simulated Annealing

Wireless sensor and actor networks (WSANs) have become the new hot spot of research. Actor Deployment (AD) can improve the network performance. Most of current AD methods only take distance between nodes as the main yardstick. Considering performance parameters such as delay, bandwidth, energy and reliability, an actor deployment method based on simulated annealing has been proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the AD_SA algorithm is more effective in terms of coverage rate and coverage area.
