The basic characteristics and problems of delamination

Abstract Delamination is based on lithospheric tectonics and magmatic activity in the orogenic belt. As one of the key models for explaining large-scale magmatic activity in recent years, there are a lot of problems. Based on the existing data, this paper summarizes the occurrence conditions of the delamination, the geological results, the relationship with the large-scale magmatic activity and the model of the delamination, and further discusses the existing problems.
