Research on the Development of the Summer Tourism Climate Resources of Mian Mountain in Shanxi

Climate is an important part of tourism resources. And with the global warming, the cool climate has become an important motivation and demand for summer travel. Comfortable and cool climate is the most basic requirement for tourists to choose the summer tourism destination. The comfortable climate in summer of Mian Mountain is the basic resource of summer tourism development and the summer tourism products of Mian Mountain need to be urgently developed. In this article, we use the Temperature Humidity Index (THI), the Wind Effect Index (WEI) and the Tourism Climatic Index (TCI) to evaluate the tourist climate resources of Mian Mountain. And based on the evaluation, we further put forward the summer tourism development suggestions with the combination of the characteristic tourism resources of Mian Mountain, which include establishing brand awareness of summer tourism, improving the summer tourism facilities, reinforcing the integration of religious culture and summer tourism and emphasizing the sustainable development of summer tourism.
