Cretaceous Red bed and danxia landform in Shandong Province

Red bed landform is widely distributed in Shandong province ,it is of great significance to research for scholars. This paper analyzed the origin of the Cretaceous red bed, and its distribution law, its lithologic character. The Danxia landform with high ornamental value was discussed also. Through analysis, we found that the Cretaceous red beds in Shandong province has important scientific research, popular science value and tourism development value.
