Integrated Information Security Protection Method in Industrial Control Systems

Security vulnerabilities in industrial control systems (ICS) and its open interconnected trends lead to security risks escalating, no sound solutions were found to address this issue. An information security integrated protection method for industrial control systems (ICS) was proposed in this paper. Based on ICS network architecture, basic data and system security protection technologies, trusted security protection and self-healing methods were integrated in the lifecycle of the security event to protect the ICS. Analysis results indicated the effectiveness of the proposed method. The established integrated protection method assists realizing the systematic security protection covering the incident lifecycle for ICS.
