This paper investigates a novel technique called as pilot assisted techniques for PAPR reduction in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). A pilot assisted technique has been implemented in MATLAB for AWGN and Rayleigh channel. For both the channels the PAPR has been found out. Also the Bit error rate (BER ) vs frame for each channel has been evaluated.
