Improving the Packet Reception Ratio of Grid Based Routing Protocol for WSNs
Draft Rejected
Since the energy of nodes is limited in wireless sensor networks, therefore, designing efficient routing is important for reducing energy consumption. This paper proposed improving the Packet Reception Ratio of Grid based Routing Protocol (IPRRGRP) for Wireless Sensor Networks. In this paper, the proposed work can save energy & endow with the finest path to route the data according to the possibility of more energy available to the sensor node within some defined range & improve the packet reception ratio at sink in the network area which is partitioned into grid-by-grid manner with the same size & sensor node are densely deployed in the region. Simulation results by MATLAB shows the energy efficient network, more packet reception ratio (PPR) & additional number of packets received at sink & prolong the network lifetime as compared to existing Slot management based Energy Aware Routing for WSNs (SMEAR).
