Abstract Pending
The European Union's GALILEO navigation system is one of the modernized satellite based navigation systems developed to provide position and timing services to applications around the globe with accuracies in the order of sub-decimetres. Compared to the legacy GPS system, the GALILEO system is designed with advanced signal structures to overcome some of the limitations such as, increased correlation gain, less RF interference, higher sensitivity, and improved position accuracies. GALILEO system supports five types of signals namely E1 , E5 , E5a , E5b & E6.
E1 signals comprises of E1-B and E1-C components and is transmitted in the frequency band of about 1559-1610 MHz. This paper involves in generation of E1 signals , used for open service , using simulink.
