Performance Analysis of a Multiband Multicarrier CDMA UWB System for RFID Applications

Analysis is carried out for a Multiband Orthogonal FDM Multicarrier CDMA Ultra Wideband system for RFID communications from reader to tag. Analysis is presented for indoor industrial ultra wideband communications over a Nakagami-m fading environment. Results are presented for several code length, number of users and number of subcarrier for a given transmitter power. It is found that multicarrier CDMA provides improvement in range of a UWB RFID link over single carrier CDMA system.
