Nyquist Folding Receiver (NYFR) is an efficient analogy-to-information (A2I) architecture that folds the broadband radio frequency (RF) inputs into baseband by sub-sampling so that it can sample with a low rate ADC. It is difficult to reconstruct the RF input from the output of NYFR due to the spectrum of folded signal is aliasing seriously. Thus regard the NYFR as a Compressive Sensing (CS) architecture which can apply the traditional CS recovery algorithm is a feasible way to deal with the problem of reconstruction. This paper carefully proves the Restricted Isometry Property (RIP) of sensing matrix that generated by NYFR and calculates the probability of exact reconstruction by applying Gershgorin circle theorem. Finally, analysis of some simulation include the relationships between reconstruction probability and average sample rate, modulating sample rate, monitoring bandwidth are also discussed, whose results show the influence on reconstruction is beneficial to select the parameters of NYFR.
