Effect of Absorptive Capability on Performance of Technological Innovation: The Moderating Role of Innovative Culture

Based on 165 samples from high-tech manufacturing companies, this paper analyzed the effect of absorptive capability on the performance of tech-innovation, which takes the innovative culture as a moderating factor. With two types of absorptive capabilities: latent absorptive capability and real absorptive capability concerned, the research found that the real absorptive capability can significantly promote the performance of tech-innovation. During the course of real absorptive capability to performance of tech-innovation, the innovative culture plays a moderating role, and can enhance the effect of real absorptive capability on the performance of tech-innovation.
