Abstract. The buffer way of thin-walled cylinder axial buckling owns impact load with excellent energy absorption capacity, thread cutting buffer way have the stable motion but ordinary energy absorption ability. Raising the idea that the combination of these two buffer ways, designing a kind of structure called that Thread cutting-thin walled cylinder axial buckling structure. Using the explicit dynamics to simulation, learning about the motion’s characters and energy absorption ability, and compared with two buffer ways.
