A New Type of Mobile Phone Antenna with Multi-Band for 3G&4G Network

Abstract: In this paper, a plane monopole mobile phone antenna is designed, which is structured by radiating paster, reference ground, and dielectric substrate. The working frequencies completely cover all together 18 communicating frequency bands of China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and WLAN communication. Within the working frequencies, the return loss of the antenna S11<-6dB; while in WLAN communication of 2.400 GHz, 5.200GHz or 5.800GHz, the return loss of the antenna S11<-10dB. Through experiments, the antenna satisfies the communicating design requirement and works well. The structure of the antenna is easy for making and integrating. With the merits of low cost, it can be used extensively in mobile communication.
