Integrated morphological-wavelet threshold filter for efficient denoising of vibration signals

We present an integrated morphological-wavelet threshold filter to efficiently purify the corrupted vibration signals of rotating machinery. The proposed filter presents the combined advantages of both morphological and wavelet filters, to simultaneously filter both impulse and white noises. In contrast, the integrated filter. Based on the simulation results, the integrated filter, composed of a morphological filter followed by a wavelet threshold filter, presents a decent denoising. We experimentally demonstrate the efficacy of the filter comparing with the previously reported filters.
