Abstract Accepted
The world of the wireless communication has known a very significant progress in the two last decades, in recent years, a growing effort has been observed in the development of wireless as well as satellite communication systems. This has been done to bring together different services into a single compact unit, while keeping high-performance standards. One of the essential components which contributed to this development is the antenna. Antenna is an electrical device which transmits the electromagnetic waves into the space by converting the electric power given at the input into the radio waves and at the receiver side the antenna intercepts these radio waves and converts them back into electrical power. Day by day new wireless devices are introduced which increases the demand of compact antennas. Increase in satellite communication and use of antennas in the aircraft and spacecraft has also increased the demand of a low profile antenna that can provide a reliable communication. For this reason very intense studies were realized to improve and develop the antennas performances. To accomplish that, it is necessary to develop small effective antennas that are able to operate in several frequencies.
