The Future of Radio Communication
Draft Accepted
Devanshu Jha / MVJ College of Engineering
Can wireless nodes transmit and receive data at the same time and on the same channel? Much of wireless takes Half-Duplex operation for granted thus using time or frequency division for bi-directional communication. Now, the scientists have successfully designed a single channel Full-Duplex wireless transceiver.
Full duplex is the future of all kind of wireless devices. It can be considered the next big thing in wireless physical layer after MIMO enhancements. Major issue in full duplex is to cancel self-interference. With different bottlenecks of saturation in RF front end of the receiver, active analog cancellation has to be performed before digital cancellation.
