The word "service" is a wide concept may be included the resources provided in Internet. Service is a basic concept in the new generation of Internet so that in some texts it is indicated as services Inter-net. The indicator of this phenomenon is the cloud computing in which the data, software and the structure cloud are presented within the service. Web service technology is one of the current types of the services Internet. The basic component in web service technology is the Service Directory in which the affairs of Service Registering and Service Discovery are occurred.
A main challenge arisen in association with the application of web services is the discovery of a suitable web service for different requirements. After the emergence of Semantic Web and then the emergence of Semantic Web Service, discovering the web services has become specifically important. The core anthology is a semantic web and may be used to facilitate the process of the web services discovery. The aim of web service discovery is to seek and find the web services that can meet the needs of the user. The process of web service may have the combination of web services if a service isn’t able to meet the needs of the user alone.
Discovering the web service has been considered extensively by the research associations. Lots of techniques have been given in this field may be summarized on semantic and syntax briefly. In many of the given methods for a semantic service, only the inputs and outputs have been considered. This caused that the attention of service discovery be lowered and the desired service not be in correspond-ence with the user’s request. The algorithm presented in this thesis considers not only the inputs and outputs of the services but also the precondition and its impact and this is a big advantage in relation to the other service discovery algorithm. The efficiency and rate of precision of given algorithm have been evaluated by the third version of the dataset OWLS – TC and compared with three algorithms of the service discovery with a high precision. Through combination of the comparison between the concepts and their specifications as well as scoring the services and ranking them within the corre-spondence orders sets, the presented algorithm in this thesis could take a step in increasing the rate of precision for discovering the services and also by giving a new correspondence rate named substitu-tion, it has taken a step toward improving the discovery process.
