Improved Algorithm Identifying Spam Message of Pseudo Base Stations

With the development of the public mobile communications, criminals, in order to get a huge profit, take advantage of the GSM network’s security defects. A variety mechanisms of the pseudo base station are used to send advertising messages and even fraud messages. The paper proposes an method to identify spam messages by analysis the pseudo base station signal feature and working principle, and the improved digital signature based on the elliptic curve cryptography system is applied to identify the legitimacy of short message. This method can achieve the 100% effect.
