Sustainable Landscape Design Strategy Based on Urban Stormwater Management

With the acceleration of the urbanization in China, the urban stormwater and its related problems are becoming increasingly serious. In order to address this problem, improve urban ecological environment and meet the growing demand of people, the sustainable landscape design strategy aiming for solving stormwater is put forward. This paper expounds the characteristics of the sustainable stormwater landscape firstly. Then from the five perspectives of design with natural, systematization, multifunctionality, economization and humanization, this study preliminarily discusses the sustainable organization structure of the landscape in dealing with stormwater problems and other related issues, so as to contribute new ideas for the construction of the sponge city in China.
