Temperature distribution characteristics of small size tunnel fire under longitudinal ventilation

The high temperature flue gas produced by fire in tunnel will seriously threaten people's life and the safety of tunnel structure. In order to master the law of the influence of the fire vehicle on the temperature distribution in the tunnel, a small size tunnel experiment system is established based on the similarity theory. The system is used to test the fire in tunnel under different working conditions, the distribution law of the temperature field in the tunnel under the condition of longitudinal ventilation is studied, and the relationship between the longitudinal ventilation and the fire source in the tunnel space has been revealed. The results show that the effect of longitudinal ventilation on the space temperature is different. Under the condition of the same speed of the fire source, the effect of different ventilation rate on the combustion of fire source is different. Under different ventilation rate, the speed of fire source has different effects on the spatial energy distribution. There is a mutual relation between the longitudinal ventilation and the speed of the fire source, so the temperature of the tunnel can be avoided increasing by adjusting the speed of the fire source or controlling the longitudinal ventilation rate.
