2017 1st International Conference on Metrology (ICONMET)

The International Conference on Metrology (abbreviated ICONMET) is a biennial scientific meeting on metrology organized by RCM – LIPI (Research Center for Metrology – Indonesia Institute of Science (LIPI)). The purpose of this conference is to bring together academia, researchers and engineers to share achievements, ideas and vision on metrology and its application. This conference provides a meaningful forum for experts and professionals from all around the world to discuss topics that deal with recent advancement in the wide spectrum of metrologies. In the meeting, the participants can exchange information and views among the members of international scientific community, professional metrologists, manufacturers of measurement equipment, engineers and students working in the field of measurement science and technology.

The first ICONMET (ICONMET – 2017) will be held in Balai Kartini Jakarta, 25 – 26 October 2017, along with other events organized by ISE (Indonesia Science Expo). Jakarta is the capital and most populous city of the Republic of Indonesia, located on the northwest coast of the world’s most populous island of Java. The main way to go from the Soekarno-Hatta airport (Cengkareng – CKG airport) to the city is using taxicabs. The city is located roughly 30 km away, but it is good to keep in mind that this is a huge metropolis so the trip may take from 40 minutes up to two hours depending on the traffic.
