2017 XXXIInd General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI GASS)

For the thirty-second time since the inception of URSI, Radio Scientists from across the world will get together for the URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium. This triennial gathering will take place from 19^th to 26^th of August 2017, in Montreal, Canada. This conference is a unique opportunity to learn about recent advances in all fields of Radio Science, as covered by all ten URSI Commissions.

The conference will take place at the Montreal convention center, an award-winning facility ideally situated in downtown Montreal, within walking distance from shopping, museums, and the Montreal Old Port. The latter will give you a taste of Europe in North America, and is one of the city's most famous tourist attractions. Montreal is a vibrant multicultural city, known for its hospitality, its food, its cultural scene and its numerous summer festivals. 2017 will indeed be a perfect time to visit, as Montreal celebrates its 375th anniversary, while Canada celebrates the 150^th anniversary of its confederation!

The local organizing committee and the URSI commission chairs are hard at work to make both the technical program and the social events meet and exceed your expectations.
