29th National Chemistry Congress

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am pleased to invite you to the 29th National Chemistry Congress, which will take place at the Middle East Technical University Campus between 10-14 September 2017.

The congress program will consist of invited speeches, oral presentations and poster sessions. In addition to this, for the first time in this congress we will organize a "quick presentation" session. The quick presentation session was added to the program in order to give opportunity to young authors those the owner of the posters selected by the Scientific Committee.

The 29th National Chemistry Congress is also the first thematic national chemistry congress in our country. Our theme is "The Future of the Chemistry, The Chemistry of the Future". Within the context of this congress, which includes all branches of chemistry, our aim in selecting this theme is to create tangible targets for Turkey to take place among the leading countries in the field of chemistry and to discuss the future of chemistry science and education in Turkey, which is our common concern.

Cultural and social activities as well as a comprehensive scientific program will add richness to the congress will be held in September, one of the times when METU nature is the most beautiful.

All general information about the Congress can be found on our website. You can start uploading abstracts of your oral and poster presentations by February 3, 2017, using the online registration system on our website.
