16th International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems

 The 16th International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems (MH2018) organized by South China University of Technology (SCUT) will be held in Guangzhou, October 28-November 2, 2018. On behalf of the local organizing committee, I warmly welcome you to join this meeting together with scholars in the field  of hydrogen storage materials from the world.

Guangzhou, the conference location, is South China's key economic center both domestically and internationally. Known for its flourishing commerce, it serves as China's chief foreign trade hub. With its subtropical climate, there’s an abundance of greenery and flowers in bloom all year round, hence it’s earned the nickname “Flower City”. 
China has a long tradition in the research and application of hydrogen storage materials. In 1998, the MH1998 symposium was held in Hangzhou, China. It is an exciting prospect for the hydrogen communities to gather once again in China 20 years later for the MH2018 event in Guangzhou, following a very successful MH2016 held in Interlaken,Switzerland. We will be presenting the latest advances in both the fundamental science of metal-hydrogen systems and their applications in a variety of areas - in particular hydrogen storage systems for renewable energy devices.
We sincerely hope you can join us in discussing the key challenges and ways forward in hydrogen storage materials, whilst making new friends from different countries in the process. We are looking forward to seeing you in Guangzhou in Oct. 2018!
