17th World Fertilizer Congress of CIEC

On behalf of organizers, it is our privilege to invite you to the 17th World Fertilizer Congress, September 3-7, 2018, in Shenyang, Liaoning, China! We are honored to host this event, for the 2rd time (the 12th World Fertilizer Congress and now 17th), and look forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues from all over the world.
The theme of the 17th world Fertilizer Congress is Green Fertilizer, Green World, represents a very actual and attractive topic for scientists working in the area of fertilizer utilization, production and marketing. Fertilization plays an important role in meeting the increasing demand of food for the increasing world population. At the same time the impact of fertilization on food quality, soil fertility, the waste of resources and environment are becoming more and more relevant, not only for farmers and scientists, but also for fertilizer industries, economists and policy makers. Thus contributions on research about new technologies to improve fertilizer efficiency and to reduce environmental pollution are highly welcome.
The 17th World Fertilizer Congress jointly organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and the International Scientific Centre of Fertilizers(CIEC),will provide an important forum to exchange the latest information, advances and achievements in fertilizer research & development, production and application.
China being the biggest fertilizer production and consumption country in the world, Chinese fertilizer scientists are looking forward to continuing and strengthening scientific change and cooperation with their counterparts throughout the world. We are confident that our presence at the 17th World Fertilizer Congress will be productive and beneficial and that, as a byproduct of your visit, you will come to know better China and the Chinese people.
