Recent advances in high-throughput sequencing in connection to novel models for analyzing such data are causing a rapid evolution of drug science, giving rise to a new high-precision medicine. Topics such as Drug Delivery, Nanosphere Technology, Intelligent Drug Discovery, Drug Repositioning, Drug Resistance, Patient-specific biomarkers discovery are yielding intriguing and complex problems. Our main and special guest lectures will address such a scope focusing on algorithms, models, biomedical and biotechnological techniques together with clinical applications. From the enclosed bibliography, the selected themes have received much attention in the scholarly literature ranging from Nature and Science to Bioinformatics Journals.
