The Impacts of International Software and Systems Engineering Standardization on China and China’s problems

Software engineering carry the engineering idea through the analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of software product across the entire life cycle, including the ideas, theories, methods, techniques, tools and environments that are necessary for the completion of a software product. By developing, implementing and monitoring the implementation of standards, software engineering standardization normalizes the processes and methods to improve the quality of software product and work efficiency, playing an important role in the development of software industry. This paper reviews the current status of the software engineering standardization in China, analyzes and summarizes the development of the key areas of software engineering and the trend of standardization. Firstly, it sums up the development history of software engineering standardization in China . Secondly, it discusses two key sub-fields of software engineering, namely, software quality & testing and life cycle management. International standardization and its influence to the standardization works in China are introduced. Finally, the paper presents a summary of the existing problems about software engineering standardization in China and the main research work in next steps.
