2nd international workshop on encapsulation technology in South East Asia (ENCAPSEA2017)

ENCAPSEA2017 is the 2nd international workshop organized by NeoCapsules and Nha Trang University in the cadre of Network of Encapsulation technology in South East of Asia (NETSEA).

Objectives of the workshop are:

- Maintain and broaden the expert working groups to coordinate research and training activities in the field of encapsulation technology applied in food, nutrition and aquaculture.
- Exchange knowledge in the field of bioactive/ natural compounds applied in human care products to fortify the encapsulation research topics between the networks.

 TOPICS OF WORKSHOP 
- Encapsulation of bioactive compounds (traditional plant extracts, essential oils …) for uses as functional food for human and fish. 
- Encapsulation of active compounds to produce bacteriostatic/ bacteriocide for application in post-harvest, food processing …
- Encapsulation of cells, enzyme and vaccine for use in aquaculture chains. 
- Improving of engineering aspect in encapsulation research in the region. 
- Bioactive/ natural compounds applied in food, nutrition, aquaculture and human care products.
