Asian Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences Conference 2017

The Asian Federation for Pharmaceutical Sciences (AFPS) Conference is a biennial pharmaceutical science meeting since 2007. This year, the AFPS 2017 conference will be held in Xiamen, China from November 21st to 23th. It is my great honor to be your host in China, on behalf of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, together with our colleagues from the Xiamen University. 

The theme of this year is “Integration, Improvement and Innovation toward Targeted Drug Discovery”.This Conference will provide a wonderful opportunity for multi-disciplinary researchers from academia, pharmaceutical industry, research institutions, and regulatory organizations to present and discuss their most updated research achievements with emphasis on the basic researchestowards innovation targeted drug discoveryin academia, and their potential industrial and clinical applications. Regulatory issues will also be important topics.

A cutting-edge scientific programs will be engaged accordingly. The topics of the conference will cover various issues such as Leads Discovery, Modification, Optimization and Mechanism of Small Molecular Drugs; Natural Products and Traditional Medicines; Innovation in Drug Formulation and Delivery; Drug quality control, pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis; Classical Pharmacology; Mechanism and Novel Target Study of biological drugs. 

Apart from the extensive and diverse scientific program, invaluable experiences of networking, information exchange and interaction with leaders in Asian pharmaceutical sciences will be also offered,in the inspiring environment of Xiamen.
