UK-China International Particle Technology Forum VI 2017

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to announce the UK-China International Particle Technology Forum VI to be held on September 8-10, 2017 in Yangzhou, a city with about 2500 years of history in China. Both UK and China have developed large communities in the particle science and technology in the past few decades. Like previous forums successfully held in Leeds/UK (2007), Guiyang/China (2009), Birmingham/UK (2011), Shanghai/China (2013) and Leeds/UK (2015), this UK-China International Particle Technology Forum VI will provides an opportunity for scientists, engineers and technologists in the field of particle science & technology to discuss recent advances and debate on the future development in the field. The forum will enhance international influences of the subject area in a changing world that faces many challenges, facilitating more effective communications, and establish new and strengthening existing collaborations. The forum will be beneficial to academics and students, and engineering and technological practitioners working in engineering thermophysics, chemical engineering, energy engineering, material science and environmental science & engineering etc. The themes of this forum will consist of both fundamental and applied aspects of particle science and engineering, including particle synthesis, characterization and measurement, particle processing and manufacture, particulate product engineering, modelling and simulation, and emerging applications of particles in various fields. The forum will include invited lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations. English will be the forum official language. The forum will also be featured by Scholar-in-Training Awards and Best Poster Awards.
