Some languages are considered as international languages in this globalization era. Their function is to deliver information in communication around the world. English is one of the international languages that plays an important role in Indonesia. Regardless of age, social status, religion, or gender, English has become a part of our life.  Accordingly, it is important for us to explore languages, especially English. By exploring languages, people will further enrich their knowledge of the languages. It helps them use the languages properly and effectively. In line with languages, especially English, there are three aspects which can be explored. They are ELT, Linguistics, and Literature. In ELT, exploring language and language learning is needed. An educator is not only required to be professional by mastering the teaching materials but also to be creative in choosing media and strategies for teaching English. From literature aspect, exploring language and language learning through the literary works can give people stimulation and inspiration to enrich their knowledge. Exploring language also allows us to know how to appreciate literary works in today’s era. Lastly, from linguistics aspect, exploring language and language learning can give big impacts to people. Linguistics empowers people by making them aware of the language use. Thus, exploring those aspects is of paramount importance for people in today’s era to have good communication skills.
