In recent years, big data has become a new ubiquitous term. Big data is transforming science, engineering, medicine, healthcare, finance, business, and ultimately society itself. Big data and business analytics(BDBA), which is a collection of data and technology that accesses, integrates, and reports all available data by filtering, correlating, and reporting insights not attainable with past data technologies to make organizations more competitive, is emerging as the L‘next big tiling’' in management. Research shows that organizations that use BDBA to guide their decision making are more productive and experience higher returns on equity. Some scholars have gone so far as suggesting that BDBA is the next management revolution, and thus generating huge attention from both practitioners and academics.
