The objective of this workshop is to familiarize the participants with two new advanced modalities in imaging, namely 3D and multi/hyperspectral. The first provides geometric information in combination with the textural information allowing a more relevant and discriminate analysis. As for the second, it allows to exceed the limitations of the human vision, allowing toaccess the hidden biological characteristics for analysis. The workshop is divided into two parts, the morning is devoted to the presentation and exchanges, the afternoon to the training session. In the first part the end-to-end processing chain is explored, from acquisition to analysis and recognition: First we introduce the acquisition technologies for each of these modalities before analytical techniques and the applications. In the second part, two industrial sensors, a 3D sensor and a Mult/Hyperspectral sensor, are involved for an acquisition session. Tools, partially in Open source, will be provided and used for the Advanced Image Analysis.
