Introduction

The workshop presents recent research on unemployment and well-being. Theoretical and empirical work from different disciplines – in particular economics, psychology and sociology – is very welcome. Topics: - the impacts of unemployment on cognitive, psychological and emotional well-being as well as on health - resilience, coping resources and coping strategies - subjective well-being, job search and labor market policies - methodological progress in the collection of data on subjective well-being - study design and causal identification of well-being effects.
