Introduction

We have a great pleasure to announce the 2017 Young Researchers in Vacuum Micro/Nano Electronics (VMNE-YR) which will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia from 5 to 6 October, 2017, in St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University «LETI», which is the oldest electrotechnical university in Europe (founded in 1886). The event aims to establish a scientific platform that will allow to integrate young researchers from within and outside Russia into the collaboration in vacuum micro/nanoelectronics and emission electronics.
