Introduction

The aim of this annual, refereed conference is to provide a professional, stimulating, and international environment in which around 60 top PhD students can discuss their research results and ideas, establish informal networks, and initiate future collaborative research. The conference also connects early career with experienced researchers, including RGS Econ's more than 35 faculty members from the universities of Dortmund, Duisburg-Essen, and Bochum, as well as the RWI, one of Germany's leading economic research institutes.

The conference will feature a keynote speech, conference dinner and other social events. More information will follow soon, here on this page. For more information on the aim ans scope of the conference can also access the conference program and session overview of last year's "10th RGS Doctoral Conference in Economics", which took place at TU Dortmund University and had a special focus on Europe's current economic challenges.
