Introduction
The Symposium will address topics that include innovative approaches in landscape and urban horticulture, the management of urban horticulture landscapes and issues of contemporary urbanism. We would like to discuss on the state and future perspectives of landscape and urban ecology moving from the plant scale to the ecosystem scale. New technologies and methods will be presented, novel design and planning approaches will be presented. The aim is to collect experiences from a wide range of countries and disciplines, following a multidisciplinary approach. We invite paper and poster presentations which address the risks, challenges, opportunities and solutions on one or more of the following thematic areas.
