5th International Scientific Conference of Slovenian Gymnastics Federation

Encouraged by numerous successful stories of Slovenian gymnasts and past successful international events uniting gymnastics expertise from around the world, the Slovenian Gymnastics Federation decided to organize the 5th International Scientific Conference of GFS, which will take place on 19 January 2018 at the Congress centre of Hotel Bernardin in Portorož, Slovenia. Striving for further integration of up-to-date sport science principles and real world practice we believe that this is a great opportunity for exchange of new knowledge, experiences and research results in various sport disciplines.

The conference will focus on topics related to gymnastics, aerobics and gymnastics for all. Knowing the importance of interdisciplinary approach in successful sport practice, submissions related to broad spectrum of topics from field of sports medicine, biomechanics, nutrition, sport psychology, theory of training, sport technology, sport management and sport marketing are welcome.

We accept submissions in form of abstract or full paper with the deadline for the submission being November 22, 2017. All submissions should be written in English and being accompanied with an abstract (or optionally full paper) in the native language of the author. Registration fee is 50 € or 20 € for students.

All full papers will be double-blind reviewed and published in the e-book of the 5th International Scientific Conference of GFS 2018 after both positive reviews. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings book of the 5th International Scientific Conference of GFS 2018.
