Introduction

Ever since the origin of human being man has enjoyed the nature and natural resources. In the last few decades the greed of man has become beyond the need and the attitude of consumerism of mankind has brought the environment today at a critical juncture. Various anthropogenic activities like urbanization, industrialization, chemical based agriculture, deforestation, habitat destruction etc., have brought us to an alarming stage where there is no point of return without proper conservation strategy. The environment needs conservation to provide sustainability and survival of man. The present conference is being organized under the auspices of Kakatiya University, Warangal. Let us have an opportunity to invite you to be a part of the conference and to contribute your academic endeavour in searching the ways and means of establishing harmony with nature without hampering development.
